second laptop failure in 6 months

In August i bought a laptop that i needed for work on a contract.

The first day i had the laptop it was completely dead. They exchanged it the next day for a new one since they couldn't figure out the problem.

I was in Zambia this week for work and the laptop died again. Since my job requires me to have a working laptop to perform my duties i was stuck in Zambia and could not work. Vodacom refuses to replace the laptop with a different brand laptop since it's on contract.

I cannot have another failure like this as i will lose my job as i cannot complete my duties and in the process costing the company that i work for huge losses as a result.

Vodacom refuses to assist and insists that i wait 2 weeks to repair the laptop. Vodacom will cost me my job and the livelihood of my family. Even if the laptop is repaired it is clearly a defect and could happen again, maybe when i am travelling, what then?

I am willing to take a cheaper machine and still pay for the existing one's price, this was also refused by vodacom.
