Second attempt to upgrade my contract.
I have completed the upgrade process online and it went through successful. At the end of the upgrade a notification pops up to say that i have to present my ID when the device is being delivered. I called into the call centre same day 2018-11-22 at 12h49 on ********** 4 and spoke to Amelia Naidoo.
I have explained to the consultant that i work on the road and is in different areas on a day to day basis and im not readily available to be at the address (home address) which has been completed to take delivery of the device. She informed me "NO" that i should go into a store to do the upgrade and when i asked her why should i pay R150 for an upgrade where online is free, i was told that is the only way i should do it. When i asked her if Vodacom can help me with the device being delivered at the home address and that my mom can take delivery of it, her answer was "NO", when asked if the device can be delivered at 18h00 and she said "NO" i have to be present and if im not present the device would be returned or else i can go into a store if i want to complete the upgrade.
This has been my second attempt to complete my upgrade (where i find the process a disgrace) which has been offered to me since June 2018 and my previous attempt was disgraceful and opted not to proceed based on incorrect information received from the call centre agent and my previous complaint via hello peter has not been resolved as there has been no contact after 2 calls received.
Im disgraced by the service delivery of Vodacom, easy to call me for services, sms for upgrades, but not forthcoming to assist their clients. WHY AM I STILL WITH VODACOM?????
