Screen Broken, Vodacom Sandton say phone is Unfixable and can't switch on, but I brought it working.

I brought my phone(Sony XPERIA X) to Vodacom Repairs Sandton, it was working, I could make calls and Whatsapp on it, all other Apps were working, except the screen was cracked, that's why I took it to Vodacom because I have screen insurance with them. it took more that 10 days with them, then they updated the status on the website saying I should come and collect.

I went there and the reception lady said their technician says that it cannot be repaired and it needs to be sent to headoffice, that's when they gave me a small Nokia phone, which they didn't offer the first time, I wish I knew why. I called during their repair, and they had ordered more than 6 items, but only the screen was broken, I am still without a phone even to this day, and I repeat, when I took it to Vodacom, it was working well, now they are saying they cannot switch it on, as if I brought to them a broken phone.
