Please do not take any contract with Vodacom!

I tried canceling my account with Vodacom and received a call from them offering me a cheaper package. Lady ensured me that I would be paying less than I was. I then received my statement and found that it was going to be even more than I was initially paying and I called Vodacom (that was within my 14 day cooloff period). Vodacom gave me the run around and said I need to liaise with another company as they handed over my details to that company. Bare in mind, all along I thought I was dealing with Vodacom directly. They did not mention to me that my information would be given to a third party agent. It’s been over 4months of Vodacom deducting ridiculous amounts from my account and they have been giving me the run around. I am exhausted so again today I request to cancel my contract. Only to find that my cancellation fee is now double of what I would have paid I had I gone ahead and cancelled. Vodacom is a ****! Please, do not waste your money with them.
