********: VODACOM

I had a contract with Vodacom for a measly R170,99 which I asked to be cancelled end of April 2020.

I specifically used their **** app to change my bank details from Discovery to FNB. I called them to confirm the new bank details (FNB) the debit order should go off.

Vodacom decided to still debit my discovery account which was in the process of being closed and therefore had no money. Debit order bounced.

I called numerous times between April to date to resolve them giving me details to pay the outstanding R170,99 but the call centre was not available, on days where you do get through to a person they could not assist with bank details and reference to be used for the payment.

I tried the twitter avenue and the perosn running their account point blank refused to help as well.

The ******** (Vodacom) then bill me charges for the "missed debit order" yet they were the ones who firstly debited the incorrect account and did not follow my instructions, then secondly refused to give me bank details to pay them. Now they have added charges to the R170,99 claiming my account is in arrears.

The ******** (Vodacom) are trying to effectively benefit from unduly by deliberately debiting a closed account so they can charge extra fees when they had the instruction to change bank accounts for the last debit order.

Somehow a Samaritan of a consultant gave me the reference details to use to pay the R170,99 which is was due to them. They still have not even acknowledged the payments nor closed the account.

Their GREEDY persona is waiting for me to pay their "scandalous arrears charges" which they effectively created. Vodacom is a ****!!!!!!
