SAVED BY AN ANGEL!!!
I am not really giving Vodacom 5 star rating but I am giving it to Slindile Gumede who gave me an outstanding service after the mess that happened.
On the 20th July I upgraded my data contract in Richardsbay and they gave me a Home internet package to use in a pocket router, this home router gave me a lot of connection problems but couldn't return to Vodashop since I live very far from Richardsbay.
I called Vodacom customer care in trying to get help but the lady told me I must go back to the shop since they can't fix the mess made in the shop, I explained that I can't since I live far. Fast forward I went to Vodashop on the 30th of September and explained the situation, to my disappointment Vodashop didn't really help me but I was told to phone Vodacom customer care again,
I did and that's when there was pointing of fingers between the guy in the call center and the guy at the Vodashop, No one really wanted to take responsibility and help me as a customer, I then decided to ask that they cancell the contract all together.
That's when I met this amazing lady Slindile Gumede who saved the day, she spoke to me nicely and managed to calm me down and stopped me from canceling my Vodacom contract, if it wasn't for her I would've long gone and took a contract with other service providers.
To Vodashop Richardsbay and the guy by the name Shaama or Shamla You guys are the worst, you didn't even care that I had to drive for so may kilometers to sort this mess out, this guy had the audacity to leave me while I was still trying to sort the issue with Vodacom customer care and told me I must call him since he is going to his doctor's appointment, ME the customer am the one to call him, even today now I haven't even received a call from the shop to follow up on the matter.
Slindile Gumede deserves a promotion am telling you, she knows how to redress , she understands what a customer is. I remained with Vodacom ONLY because of her. Otherwise I can't really recommend my friends and family to use Vodacom.
