Samsung S5 Mini Discontinued

I went to Vodacom to do my upgrade to a Samsung S5 Mini which is advertised on special until 9 February '15 and confirmed by the Sales Consultant. When I asked to upgrade he told me that they do not have stock as it is discontinued. I asked him what the reason for the discontinuation is and he said Samsung is not using the 'S' any longer?!?!<br> <br> I asked him what is available and he said they are waiting on their new deals due for release on 9 February.<br> <br> I came home and researched and found that the Samsung S5 Mini is still available as well as advertised on the Vodacom website but out of stock.<br> <br> Does Vodacom really think we are that stupid and will not do our own research?
