Samsung S4 Mini screen cracked

My Samsung S4 mini was lying next to me on the desk when the screen turned black from the top. When I handed it in for warranty repair they claimed that it was physical damage and can not be repaired under warranty. On their report it also states that the screen was burnt-out. One of 2 things happened - first option is that the screen cracked because it over heated. The second option is that the person who opened it at Vodacom damaged the phone. I have also contacted Samsung and they said I must bring the phone in to a Samsung repair center. The nearest repair center is in Roodepoort, about 130km from Rustenburg..<br> <br> This phone is less than 2 months old and is very well cared for. <br> <br> I expect Vodacom or Samsung to take responsibility and repair this phone under warranty.<br>
