Sales staff puts phone down while Im talking, refusing to remove my number from database

I get a sales pitch call from a Vodacom employee about a contract, I explained to her I was not interested, I asked her to please remove my number off the database as I don't want to be contacted by Vodacom, where she then told me you cannot remove data from a database, I work in software development and know for a fact you can so I was I still telling her that you can delete information off a database and she just put the phone down.

This behavior is incredibly rude please do not call me if you are going to just drop the call while I am talking, I am wasting work hours to pick up the phone and listen to sales pitches and I understand its your job and that's fine but I expect you to treat your potential customers with respect. I left Vodacom a while ago and after this I am even more grateful that I did.
