********* sales practice

Vodacom called me with a contract offer but I was told that they are just doing a quote which they will email and I can accept or reject it.

When I saw the contract I emailed back and said I decline. The same day I get an sms that my new phone is being delivered.

I didn't accept the package, called Vodacom and was told I need to wait for the phone to be returned by the couriers to cancel the contract I didn't upgrade.

Vodacom is always using underhanded tactics but thankfully in the call I made it clear I was accepting the quote to be emailed to me not accepting the contract

Vodacom always does this and I am tired of them getting away with this behaviour.

It was not a mistake. This is how they operate. The sales department are trained this way. I don't blame the agent who I spoke to.

Black Friday specials if you can call it that were lies because they increasing their prices in February so you are not getting anything special.

Don't take a contract with Vodacom, they always increase prices, they cannot be trusted and will overwhelm you with terms and conditions you may not understand. They are the most underhanded people.
