Sale of mobile phone numbers

Generally the connection in my area of Douglasdale is acceptable. But I am totally disgusted with the company's attitude regarding selling one's mobile number. One ends up with DAILY unwanted incoming calls. This is totally unacceptable and the customer should be given a choice to really to prevent Vodacom and the likes to sell one's number. This practice shows total disrespect for the customer 's right to privacy. The procedure for complaining to Nersa and/or the Consumer Councill are hopelessly complicated. And the other service providers, particular Telkom are no better!! What can the client Do?? Social media campaigns expose the private details even more???
