Sale of Faulty Huawei P8 Handset and Worst Service by Martin Hattingh and the manager Zonke Sogiba: Vodacom, Shop U55, Entrance 12, Upper Level

On 07/03/2017 i bought a Huawei P8 Lite cash at Shop U55, Entrance 12, Upper Level, Cnr. Rivonia and 5th Street, Sandton City Vodacom outlet. The handset started freezing on day 1 and would not connect to Wifi despite updating and installing the software twice in 3 days on its request. I returned the handset within the 7 day return period to the store and told them i wanted a refund because i do not want to spend over R3500 on a phone that i can't use. I was informed it is used and i signed off on a document that says i cannot get a refund even if the phone is faulty. 1st of all it was the first time i was being made aware that they don't give refunds on manufacture defaults and secondly why is Vodacom selling faulty devices and hiding behind fine print that is not communicated with customres prior to selling the devices? They, being Martin Hattingh and the manager Zonke Sogiba took the phone and my contact numbers and never called to give me feedback. I called the store 5 days later to inquire on the progress of my refund but was informed that the OBF has been approved and they will call me back and never did. I went out of town and on my return on the 19th March went to the store and was informed that they are issuing a new handset to replace the faulty one. I told them i want none of that, juts my money back. I asked them how do they gurantee that the replacement phone is not faulty like the 1st one and why do they sell faultu devices, why not do quality checks? and why do they not inform customers upfront when they come looking to buy phones that they will not get refunds? i took the new handset and lo and behold it was just as faulty ast the first one. I went to the store again today 25 March 2017 and told them i want my cash back, no more unproductive talks and trips to the store talking the same thing and getting same results. I was told no refunds, phone is used. I asked whose's fault is it? I told them i wanted my money, not not the phone clealry the entire line is faulty and they walked away and out of the shop and left me there. I was told by the other staff that they will not accept resposnsibilty if i left the phone with them. they called Martin and Zonek back, i put the phone + cover in Zonke's hands and told her i want my money back she will see what to do with the faulty phone. I'm not interested in non-stop trips for replacements, they don't pay my parking ticket and petrol and wear and tear on my car . i am not having another discussion about a stupid handset i want my money. Just becasue I am black they treat me like ****, my money was not **** when i was buying the phone, if i was a white person they would have given a refund on first request. i left the phone with the cover that i bought with Martin Hattingh and the manager Zonke Sogiba and told them to get back to me with my money. Vodacome can't do as it pleases and run away from assuming responsibility for selling faulty devices. I want my money back no later than 27th March 2017. I paid cash i want cash, not excuses. they told me they didn't care what i did i was not getting my refund, i could close the store or throw a tantrum or swear they don't care. What kind of custorem service is that? is that how you treat customers? That is unacceptable behaviour. Vodacom must do the right thing.
