SA's Best Network? Not in Dawn Park

This is really frustrating now. We have been struggling with good connectivity in Dawn Park from SA's best network. More than 3 years ago I escalated this network issue and a technician from Vodacom came to my house did some tests and then confirmed that there is poor connectivity from here. He recommended that I get an antenna to boost the signal. Since then nothing ever happened. The network here is so frustrating I feel like pulling my hair. To give you an example, I have stopped using the vodacom data network in the evening because I can spend more than 2 hours trying to load a page while it shows that is connected on EDGE, infact, EDGE to me is as good as not connected. So I rather try to wake up midnight or early morning to try and get anything done, but days like this one are just too much to bear. I have been up at 2am and trying to do a few tasks, 1 to buy some electricity via internet banking, this alone takes less than 5 minutes on any good connectivity. Today it took me more than 45 minutes meanwhile the 3G ****le show that I have connected to HSDPA. At first nothing was loading, then a page would take more 5 minutes trying to load, only to fail. Then I would refresh, reboot the PC, restart the connection, swap sim cards ( I have 3 loaded with data) then I eventually tried using my phone as a hotspot but still nothing works. I eventually got a page to load and recharged my electricity in almost 1 hour. I now tried to pay some of my accounts but the same struggle happened again. I have not yet received the OTP to proceed with payment still but I am connected. When I have to use YouTube or any online video, the buffering is too much I even loose interest waiting for the video to load. My wife who is on CellC has better reception that me at home. What is most frustrating to me is that VODACOM claims to be SA's best network yet for almost 5 years now, getting connectivity at home has been terrible. I sometimes battle on voice calls which means we have go outside and move around to find a spot where the other person can hear you clearly. If it is an issue capacity then why can't they just upgrade their network. Dawn Park is not a new area it has been there for years, the network planners should have done something by now, unless we are not worth much to them. This network is seriously hindering our progress as people. I can't run my business effectively when I am at home, I cant pay suppliers and do my work which requires the internet. I often am forced to travell more than 15 kms during the middle of the night to go and use the WiFi at McD or KFC in Sunward Park. Vodacom must stop spending the money of **** advertising and spend it on its infrastructure man. Just recently, from last year till last month, it was the dropped calls, yet they claim to be the best network? I am so irritated from the amount of time and money I have wasted (especially time - e.g, I have been up from 2am and it is now 4:24am I have managed to do 1 thing.) since using Vodacom. The only thing they will say is sorry instead of fixing their network. Haaakga mani! Mxm
