SA LAW protects companies and corporations not consumers.

My complaint has still not been resolved. I purposefully withheld my debit order because my complaint was not been resolved. I am then told, "Your account is in areas, we can not resolve your problem" ... but when my account was not in arrears my problem could not be resolved. I want people to be aware that you would be penalized for doing this (withholding payment to make your point) but you cannot penalize the company for not giving you what you purchased or negotiated. So the LAW is written to protect corporates and companies in our country which means that the laws are not written to protect citizens. You might say but we have a consumer commission ... My response to you is, do you have any idea how much of your time, energy, and resources you will spend in getting the consumer commission to attend to it. I have spent hours of my life, time, and resources to sort this out is VODACOM going to extend a form of reparation? I was unequivocally told no. So where is the justice? Hope you will still be alive when it is resolved. Stay away from VODACOM. Their system only works for them and many of their call centre agents are not competent.
