RUDE, OBNOXIOUS AND *********** VODACOM!!!!!!!!!
I am actually posting this on behalf of my fiance, unfortunately between her and myself, we have had enough of Vodacom and after reading all these posts about how bad Vodacom is, I have to agree.
My fiance cancelled her contract on the 1/10/2018 as she wants to move to MTN which Vodacom did not know at the time.
Well.... It has been an uphill battle ever since... So as I said she phoned in on the 01/10/2018 to cancel her contract to which she was told was cancelled, come the 12/11/2018, she could not understand why she was able to make calls and why she has data, so she checked her balance and low and behold Vodacom had allocated the bundles to her and she was using it without realizing... So she phoned Vodacom on the 12/11/2018 just to be told that they had cancelled her cancel! Now by this stage her and I both were furious( spitting fire).
So she asks them how they can cancel her cancel to cancel the contract... And guess what?
No answer, all she kept getting was "I apologize"
So I climbed on the phone and gave this operator a very big piece of my mind and demanded answers which I have to say was the biggest load of horse ****!
So my fiance climbed back on the phone and demanded they cancel with immediate effect which is exactly what had been done... So great the contract was cancelled and we were happy, until....!
Until she was told that her account would be debited for R341 and some change... So she asked "What for?"
The answer was that she is liable for the bundles that were allocated to her, to which started a whole new fight with Vodacom.
As per Vodacom she was liable for the full amount due as she used some of the bundle, so I climb back on the phone and say this is not on and there is no way that she is paying this money, if Vodacom was in any way competent they would have cancelled the contract on the 01/10/2018 and we would not have this problem, we spoke to a man by the name of Zakhele Ngomi which reassured me that he will contact the "back office" and have this withdrawn so that they don't debit her account to which we were happy.
Until today...
16/11/2018 she received an MMS stating that R341 and some change will be debited off her account at the end of the month.
Now we are both spitting fire like a pair of hellbound dragons, we try and contact Zakhele Ngomi and we only get rude, obnoxious and *********** operators, some are saying they don't know who he is and some are saying they are putting us through but after several minutes the call is cut, so after this happening several times we google the head offices number and speak to a very polite woman by the name of Ms/Mrs Gumede( Sorry I cannot recall your name off hand) and she reassured us that the request has been put through to the "back office"
If this becomes a bigger problem where she gets the full amount debited on her account Vodacom, I will be getting my advocate involved and we will see you in court.
She has no problem paying for the 12 days as that's when she used the allocated bundle until.
You people f**ked up and it will not become our problem!
