Rude *********** call center agent

At about 08:35 this morning I caled the Cancellations number in order to ask about how to go about cancelling my contract. I was met by a rude and *********** call centre agent who on numerous attempts failed to answer my questions, got loud with me and eventually hung up on me while I was asking for confirmation. She answers the phone like "Hello" and left it at that (not introducing herself until further into the conversation.

When asked how to go about cancelling my contract-she wanted to sign me up to other offers and when the security questions came about, she didnt communicate clearly (rather with attitude).

One incident was in me asking "When i want to stop my 2G contract, do I have to call to cancel and if so when do I call to cancel " the response was along the lines of "which number do you want to cancel, you have two numbers" I repeated "my-2-gig-contract" and then got an answer.

Another incident was "Why does my contract expire on 3/4 February when I always receive phones in December?" the response was "Your contract expires in Febrauary since it started in February 2015", I asked the question again and then when I got the same response i asked "Is it expiring in February, is it because I upgraded then or what"....finally after letting me finish sentence she said "yes".

I feel that LEAH really needs another month of training to listen to the customer and answer what has been asked rather than what she thinks she hears. She should also learn to not shout at the customer...this is disgusting service.

At the end of the call I wanted a recorded confirmation of when Vodacom will stop taking money from my account and when the monthly airtime will expire...but LEAH hung up on me.

Really Vodacom-these are the people you hire?

Please do listen to the recording and infact send it to me as well. She really needs more training.

I hope all was processed properly.
