******* service I have received from Vodacom online not honoring agreement

I’m extremely frustrated with the ******* service I have received from Vodacom online.

I upgraded my phone before an international trip and made it VERY CLEAR that I will not be available from 23april to 7may. The sales lady assured me multiple times that this is not an issue and they will make sure it gets delivered once I’m back. There was only one Samsung J5 in stock and this should have secured it for me. (Ref ***7)

When I got back I was informed that I need to cancel and reorder a new phone because I was unavailable for delivery!! This is absurd!

I spoke to Kim (ref ***2) and was notified that the phone I ordered is discontinued and there is no stock left.

So after Vodacom Failed to honour our initial arrangement, they manage to ***** this up even more by giving the phone I ordered to someone else!!

Reverse my latest purchase and send someone to come pick up the Samsung J3 that was delivered to me yesterday. It is still unopened.

I will be moving to MTN in the next two months, since I’m on a month to month contract at this stage I will be giving my one month cancelation notice in the next month or so.

I cannot believe how pathetic this whole situation is. The whole idea of ordering onine should be for convenience not to make your life 10x worse and give you extra admin to sort out!

After two weeks after the return phone has been picked up and hundreds of visits to the branch and calls to the call center nothing has been done. This caused me hours of admin and going back and forth between branches and contact centers. Im here by formally requesting canceling my upgrade (AGAIN for the 10th time) and also canceling my month to month contract as well. Note that im NOT deleting my number only my month to month contract. (number will be switched to prepaid which i will then port to a different network).

After four month vodacom is still billing me (*****ing from me), and i still have an "contract" with them with no phone! You are preventing me from switching service providers based on a fault from your end, you even billed me a total of R460 Equipment charge whatever the hell that means! After hours spent emailing and phoning no one was able to refund me the total that you have been *****ing from me for the past four months and to cancel my contract that you ILLIGALLY started on my behalf. I was well within my rights to cancel the day the phone was delivered. I have a new reference number now 1- ********** 0635.

Last time i phoned was on 15 July at 12:52 - 13:16 Zotwa (Manager) Promised me they will return the call and get this sorted out. She even contacted her supervisor at the time (Letisha) and still nothing has been done. As with every other call/email correspondence absolutely nothing has come of it.

I wonder how many more people are in the same boat as me, seems impossible to sort out anything with customer care and billing department.
