Robbing the public
Unacceptable
Last Year we noticed the Vodacom was still debiting out account for a number and sim card we no longer had. The number ( Account ) we phone for at the end of the contract to be converted to a pay as you go account. And then later stopped using the number all together.
When we noticed that the money was still being deducted, we reversed the debit order and sent Vodacom a email stating that we no longer had this contract with them and to stop billing us at once.
The next month we had the same case. In the mean time no email correspondence was made. No feedback for all emails sent. Until they decided to block the " no existing account " and hand us over for collection. Explaining the whole situation to the collecting attorney and sending all correspondence , we still sitting in the same place. Now Vodacom claims there is suppose to be a cancellation document. Be my quest and phone Vodacom call center and ask how to cancel a ending contract . There is no mention of any such document, the representative will just tell you phone us and all will be in order to cancel. In our experience this is a definitely a lie. And in the mean time Vodacom will to take money from you without you even receiving the service for it . We are at our wits end and it looks like no solution.
