****** of R20k!

On 4 July 2017 I was called by a gentleman Kgasi from a call centre called "Like Minds". They offered me a Vodacom data contract of 2Gig per month for R99. I accepted the offer and have been using the simcard for business purposes as and when necessary and never exceeded the R99 per month. Suddenly I received invoices from Vodacom for Dec 2017 and Jan 2018 totalling R20k and it was simply deducted from my account by debit order! I visited a Vodashop to enquire about this and they informed me that the data contract was open ended and not capped at 2Gig at all, so any data used over 2Gig was charged at extremely high out of bundle rates. Firstly I cannot believe that so much data was used on that simcard in those two months and secondly I would NEVER EVER have agreed to an openended data contact!! I want to have a voice recording of the contract that I entered into telephonically with "Like Minds" as well as an itemised bill of this account to see where and when that data was used. I have been a loyal Vodacom customer for years and currently have 8 business contracts with them but if this issue is not properly resolved I will migrate all of those numbers to another service provider.

Good Day, I want to thank Vodacom for taking our case seriously and offering a settlement to our company for the disputed money debited off our business account. In a time where companies with integrity are truly scarce I want to thank Vodacom for mannig up to the situation.
