****** and mocked!

I called the Vodacom cancelation line ***, earlier today (20/07/2022) to cancel my data account *** and was assisted by a Mongezi. He duly processed the cancelation but then started perusing and discussing my other 4 contracts. He then offered me discounts on my monthly payments and payed particular interest on my number ***. Then he advised that we apply for a 35% on my monthly payment which I agreed to, and he read the terms and conditions. He repeatedly used the word upgrade but then I stopped and reminded him that I didn't request an upgrade. He explained that the term 'upgrade' is generically used whenever you request something on your account including the discount I was applying for and we concluded the process with me agreeing to the terms and conditions. Later in the day he called again to inform me that 'discount application' was not approved and he told me that he had to read the terms and conditions again for the declined application which were the same as the one he read earlier and after profusely thanking me for being one of their best clients he ended the call. Half an hour later I received an sms from Vodacom thanking me for upgrading my account, shocked by the turn of events I called the call center and was picked up by Pam who agreed that an upgrade had been effected by Mongezi and could only be canceled by him and she promised to ask him to call me. He duly called but completely denied effecting any upgrade even insisting that he had gifted me 20 gigs of data. I am seriously disgusted by this experience especially his blatant denial of something that his colleague had confirmed. He mockingly questioned me about the contract to prove that I did not know what I was talking about and even denied that I had received an sms from Vodacom confirming the upgrade . I gave up on arguing with him. I want this upgrade to be reversed and discinary measures taken against this bent employee
