Roaming Rates and the Vodacom Website - BUYER BEWARE OF EXHORBITANT ROAMING CHARGES

So ...... I looked on the Vodacom website which by the way is absolutely appalling to navigate for a savvy/veteran user - goodness help someone who has no clue. I went onto International roaming and noticed that on the Travel Saver to Mauritius your rates are higher than standard rates. Logic then predicts that one use the standard roaming. I did decide that something 'may' be wrong (surprise surprise with Vodacom) and contacted Vodacom on the Chat. The first session - the agent Jared Still basically shut the session without saying he couldn't assist. On second attempt I also did not get an answer to my question but at least the agent said he couldn't help and that I must phone. Well phoning with a near non-existent service in Northcliff is quite a challenge. So I sent an email. received a call this morning and the rates that I was sent are so VASTLY different from what is on the website. For example it shows standard roaming data as R5 a megabyte and Travel Saver as R10. However the rates I was sent after the call this morning shows travel saver per MB as R102.40. Firstly **************** and secondly had I trusted your website I would be in dire straits. Mauritius has one of the lowest costs of mobile in Africa - so I can only think that it is Vodacom MILKING their clients. BUYER BEWARE OF EXHORBITANT ROAMING CHARGES
