Roaming broken and non-existent

Amazing non-existant service from Vodacom. I am travelling in Europe for 8 weeks. before I left I phoned and asked for roaming to be enabled. This was telephonically confirmed. I received a few sms from Vodacom to say all had been enabled. Even when I arrived in the UK I got a sms to say roaming had been activated. Try actually doing anything .... zero service I can do absolutely nothing. No data zilch. The only way I can use my phone is via wifi. Yet again another reason why I refuse to enter into any contracts with Vodacom. Once again I have been left with no service. I cannot even phone Vodacom SA from the UK to complain because I have to ask to use someone elses phone and it will cost me a fortune. I am totally NOT impressed.
