*********** Pensioners

Our wifi agreement with Vodacom is for a fixed amount in exchange for 5Gb of data per month which is normally loaded on the 1st of each month.

Last month we did not receive this data and when I phoned to query it, I was told that we had already used the data. Although we did not believe it for a second, we could not prove the contrary, since we did use the connection, so we accepted it as such.

This month, again, we did not receive our allocation of data and we have not used the device at all since there was hardly any data available. I called on 2016/06/04 @ 13:48, I spoke to Ntabiseng who confirmed that the data had not been allocated and that this can only be corrected in 48 hours since there is no-one available to do this on a weekend.

I then got confirmation at 15:54 in the form of an SMS indicating that my query is being attended to.

Today, 2016/06/08 @ 13:42 I phoned again and spoke to Thuli because the data now moved to 4.883Mb available without us having used any and it appeared likeI only received a few Mb of data. When queried, I was told we used it all on 2016/06/04 which is the day on which I previously phoned (when you confirmed we had not received our data allocation yet). How could we possibly have used 5Gb between 13:00 and 16:00 if we did not have any when I phoned you at 13:42, and how did we use the data before you allocated it which you said would be 2 days later and which did not happen?

I would like to know from Vodacom if it is their standard operating procedure to exploit pensioners because we are deemed to know anything about technology. And I would like to know how this is going to be rectified. I can not be expected to pay for data which I never received and didn’t use.
