ripp of contract cusromer

In December 2015 I called vodacom customer care to cancel a 24 month contact which would had lapsed on 20 of January 2016, the consultant whome i spoke to then offered me a month to month contract for R109 for 1 gig data I refused offer as i was unemployed since May 2015 and also bearing in mind that 1gig data on prepaid cost R99. On the 01 June 2016 my account was debited with R490 which sparked an investigation as to why Vodacom would debit my account after cancelling the contract.I contacted vodacom customer care and was requested to call from a vodacom contract phone so i traveled to my sister's place in order to call. I called the contact line and reched a not so helpful consultant. She informed me the amount was for usage. Usage of what i enquired, because as far as i knew i had paid up the contract for 24 months and the device now belonged to me. She could not explain much and informed me that her team leader would call to explain it me which never happend. I then again travelled to my sister place to call the contract department, i was kept on hold and sent from pillar to post and evenuatlly got a team leader by name of Dylan who promised to get back to me. He had said to me he would look into it with the accounts Department, its now a month later and no one had called. Today I travelled once again to my sister in order to use her cell phone. I got to speak to a service leader or somthing like that by the name of Justice. So I talked him through all that had happened. Justice had informed me that there was no record of me cancelling the contract and that it had been running on a month to month basis for R75 a month and the amount had accumelated. I aksed Justice what it was that I had been recieving , he said1 gig data for the past 6 months. So I asked Justice if I pay vodacom the R490 will I recieve 6 gigs of data from vodacom his repsonce was no it lapses after 2 months. according to Justice the account had been locked since Febuary 2016 due to non payment. My next question to Justice was if the account was locked since then how was vodacom loading data on a monthly basis if i was unable to use it. He could not responed. I then asked him to see how much data was currently on the card as I have not used it since Janaury 2016 and his reponce was I am unable to see as the account is locked. So I then posed the most important question to Justice, if i pay R490 to vodacom will they give me 6 gigs of data and his reponce was no. So I aksed JUstice how much of data will i get if I pay the R490, his responce was he does not know. SO I AM EXPECTED TO PAY VODACOM R490 FOR DATA WHICH I NEVER USED AND WILL NOT RECIEVE . In my opinion this is day light *******. I am completly and utterly disgusted with the manner in which vodacom had handled the whole matter.
