I got a Sony cellphone when my contract came up for renewal. Two weeks later it stopped working. I handed the phone in on 1 May. After 3 weeks I phoned to ask what was happening. I was told the phone couldn't be fixed. On 27 May I went in to get another phone. I was told the Sony had been discontinued, obviously because it was *******. The value of the phone was Over R6,000 but I now had to choose a phone to the value of under R5,000. So I somehow 'lost' R1,000 AND didn't have the use of a phone for close onto a month! Talk about being ripped-off!!
