I have three contracts on my name, all paid on the same account from the same bank account. We recemtly changed the main account holder from my wife's name to my name as I have been the registered payer for many years. At the end of August, I notice on my account that I have been charged the same "Change MSISDN Fee" on each of the three accounts at a cost of R131.58 each (plus VAT of course). Surely since there was previously a single main account holder and I have changed to another, single account holder, all on the same account, the admin would only have to have been done once if there must be a charge for a change of ownership. Or perhaps Vodacom is hard up for cash and sees an easy way to make a bit extra in this way!
