Ridiculous data charges
I am very disappointed at Vodacom. Firstly, I received an sms saying I have less than 200mb of data left and while I'm reading in shock I received another one saying my data has depleted. How so because the last time I checked I had about 600mb of data in my phone and I am very sure that I never used my phone for internet on the day.
I called customer care and I spoke to Joyce who had no idea how to respond to my query, she even said so herself. She transferred me to solutions department where I spoke to a not so mannered Mapitsi.
She claimed that my background Apps were running. While I was busy explaining to her that my Background App Refresh has always been off she dropped a phone on my ear and sent me an sms on how to switch off apps that are not in use.
I bought 1G of data and it was still going ridiculously. I called Vodacom again around 9pm and still there was no answer on where my data is going. I can't use my phone now because I'm scared of losing the data I bought with my last money.
Can Vodacom please provide me with answers or should I Port to another service provider? This is sickening!
And Vodacom, please teach your customer care consultants some manners and empathy. They are ***********, especially Mapitsi in the Solutions Department. Her level of incompetence is disgusting.
