Ridiculous costs for contract sim swap

I find it absolutely crazy that just because I am on a contract & need to do a sim swap to change over to a micro sim card, that I have to pay R60 or R70 extra as opposed to buying a standard prepaid sim that costs R1.<br> I have previously converted from a prepaid to contract using the same sim, so do not see why the opposite is not possible.<br> With having an old prepaid micro sim (bought @ Chatz cellular), I tried to do the sim swap telephonically, only to be told that because I did not purchase the sim from a vodacom shop, that the sim would not work & that a contract sim would cost R150. (Further to this a query @ a vodacom shop, stated that a contract sim would cost R70<br> <br> There should be no reason why you have to pay extra for a contract sim, when essentially there is no difference.<br> I am already tied into a contract & now I have to pay extra because of this.<br> <br> If I had to rate the service received from Vodacom recently, there would not be a number low enough to give an accurate rating @ present.<br>
