Retention Strategy Sucks

A month ago I called Vodacom to cancel my contract with them as I was planning to take an offering with Telekom, mind you I've been a Vodacom customer all my life. The consultant I spoke to managed to retain me by offering me the same offer as Telkom with a little more benefits. I accepted and decided to stay onbaord, since accepting, I have been calling in week in and week out to find out where this phone is and when they expect it to arrive and when I ask pick it up at branch I am told that the call cntre and branch channels are different - my argument is that, it shouldn't matter to me as I am a customer. If there is stock at branch, let me rather collect at branch because this is now a bad customer experience. I then finally told the consultant to canecel this phone and my contract, the consultant told me he can cancel the phone order, but I should then call again tomorrow to cancel my contract>Why should I have to call again when I'm clearly already upset, why do they not have a call back option. This is why they are losing customers. I am extremely disappointed in their retention strategy
