response from Vodacom on dubious charges disappointing

Last week Wednesday I logged a complaint about excessive dubious charges on my vodacom (previously Autopage)account on this page. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Vodacom on the same day, but the follow up has been disappointing. The consultant said they'd credit me some of the amount I paid despite telling him I want an investigation because I did not use any of the data charged. He said even before the investigation he already knows what the outcome will be, and only started listening after I explained that should the charges be true, my account would have been blocked when no payment was received from me - this was only done in September, despite Vodacom saying they did not receive payment from April.

He said he'd call me back either same day or latest the following day Thursday the 4th, but it's 4 days later and i stil have not received a response.

I have begged and pleeded with Vodacom to investigate the charges from October last year, the excuse that I get now is that it is too late for them to look at the account and usage as too much time has lapsed - honestly?

Your service is disgusting. Over the past 6 months I have followed all the steps requested by Vodacom, including getting an affidavit from the police station and submitting it to Vodacom for investigation - nothing. Instead, they blacklisted me for usage i did not incur. R30 000 on data over 3 months is extremely high, I am not willing to pay anything unless Vodacom can prove to me that I used the account. You can even check my usage on the account when it was with Autopage, for the 8 months prior to the account being handed over to vodacom there was no usage on the account.

Please follow this up. I have already exhausted my financing options paying you this amount, I really do not want to go the legal route to incur even mor charges.
