Resigned from Vodacom now they holding my number ransom

I recently resigned from vodacom and purchased a new phone on prepaid in order to put my sim in the new phone I need to do a sim swap to a nano sim

I have my id have my affidavit went to the store first day I couldn’t do the sim swap coz there was a field that needed to be unflagged because I used to recieve otp’s on this number

2nd day they can’t do the sim swap because my number is reported ******

I can’t call the call centre TOBI is the least smartest AI I have interacted with and it’s impossible to speak to a human at the store they all lost

So my take away from this is whoever dares resign from vodacom will be held ransom because HOW DARE THEY RESIGN FROM VODACOM
