RESCINDING OF INCENTIVE & DISGUSTING SERVICE

In 2015 I planned on cancelling my contract and ended up upgrading my Vodacom contract after I was offered a retention incentive, which was an extra GIG of Data as well as 100 minutes Vodacom to Vodacom. All went well until April 2017. Vodacom billed me R12,75 for the 100 minutes. Then every month since May I have been billed R95,61 exc VAT for these 100 minutes. I have phoned in numerous times to the Customer Care Centre, starting in June. Each time I have to explain my case. I usually phone in to do an upgrade so my call is recorded. I was then asked what was written on my contract. The incentives should be stated on the contract. Nothing is stated on the paper that one receives from Vodacom. The proof should be in all those bills that I paid previously. January 2016 - March 2016. Then they couldn't view the statements because a systems upgrade.!!! I had to email them my statements which I did screen shots of from the APP. I have done so much and I have gotten nowhere! Having a reference number for all the times I have called in is useless. The last straw was yesterday when I called in. First my call dropped. I phoned again. Finally someone attended to me, I had to wait on his system to reboot first before he could take my details. Then 15 minutes into the call, it was dropped again!! No callback . I phoned again and waited for 40 minutes but NO ONE answered. I am a very patient person but I have had enough of this nonsense, hence the vent on Hellopeter. Think very carefully before you decide to take out a contract with Vodacom. They take your money but give really terrible service. I shall be cancelling both my contracts with them ASAP. Wonder if I will get a response from Vodacom after this rant. I won't hold my breath!
