Requesting to pay more excess than what is stated

Hi<br> Cell ***, screen cracked claim submitted to vodacom insurance. After weeks of running around to get to a point. Mr Happy Pule sends me an email that the claim is approved for the same tablet,Excess 10% minimum of the replacement value minimum R500,Excess payable at the store upon collecting the device,<br> Old /salvage to be handed in at the store,Claim valid for 60days.<br> Told him i disagree as the policy wording says Excess 10% or R300 whichever is higher for cell phones. His response \The excess of the claim as per (Laptops and Portable Device ) policy VLD***
