Hi hellopeter, 3 weeks ago I posted a review in which the Vodacom contract on *** was renewed fradulently by their consultants without my consent. After posting the review on hellopeter, the issue was immediately dealt with by Vodacom and I am well pleased and grateful that the contract was cancelled with Immediate effect. After the contract had been cancelled I requested a refund as Vodacom had been deducting money from my bank account due to the ********** renewal and was told by Vodacom that they will refund me from april 2019 since documents they requested me to send Indicated that it was cancelled in November 2018.
However this month on the 15 July 2019, Vodacom started deducting money from my FNB bank account again well after the contract had been cancelled. An amount of R 956 was deducted. I took the initiative of calling Vodacom immediately and after speaking to one of their consultants, I was promised that the issue would be followed up, which they did and told me that I would be refunded the money due to me within 7-14 working days. This was not the case as I had to follow up again today the 26th and now I am told they have only released two hundred rand and the issue has to be reffered to their back office team and that I still have to wait another 7-14 working days for another refund.
Can someone help and tell me why is this happening and how long is this going to go on? I am a dissatisfied customer tired of having to run back and forth contacting Vodacom customercare requesting them to refund my money back into my account, without any success but instead I'm constantly being referred to various consultants if not bombarded with automated responses from customercare. I can not do anything with this loose change they are giving me when all I'm asking for is my refund due to me in full. Very disappointing customer service.
Please help and find this in order.
