REQUEST OF CANCELLATION

The beginning of October I called into the cancellations department and requested for my contract to be cancelled as November 2017 would be the full 24 month term. They agent then reassured me that my last payment would go off on the 1st November 2017 and the contract would be closed. I have now just received a monthly statement from Vodacom informing that payment will be deducted again in December as per usual. This is ********* and abuse of terms on their part as I have given more than a months notice to cancel my contract. I will now be blocking vodacom from my account and will be checking up with ITC after the scheduled payment if they have put any type of discrepancy on my record after the matter. This is against consumer practices for a credit provider to ignore a customers cancellation request after adhering to the full contract terms.
