Request for Urgent Resolution on Incorrect Upgrade and Number Transfer Issue

I called on the 19th and selected the cancellations team. I spoke to Tembelani Mkhize, who began processing an upgrade despite me clearly stating that I wanted the number transferred to my daughter and asking her about the process. I specifically asked her not to proceed with the upgrade on the number ending in 49.

Today I called again and spoke to Cindy, who informed me that the upgrade still went ahead, even though I had requested it be cancelled. I have now been told I will be charged R141 at the end of this month and another R141 at the end of December.

I am requesting that your agents be trained to listen to callers and not give reckless upgrade advice. I was also told I will be moved to prepaid and must port my number, which contradicts the information I was originally given.

I am asking for someone to call me with a clear, logical explanation of what has happened and what the correct next steps are. I keep asking direct questions and only receive hypothetical scenarios, such as if I want to buy a laptop ...instead of straight answers.

Please review the call recordings. Im highly frustrated at this level of engagement with Vodacom.
