Repeated ***** Dispute

I noticed unusual debit orders amounting to approximately R1500 since April 2023. Upon contacting vodacom I was informed it was for an upgrade done on the contract. I confirmed to have no knowledge of this transaction and I did not authorise this upgrade. I reported the ***** to vodacom, I was promised that the matter would be investigated and that my account would be flagged for future instore ***** attempts.

To my surprise I was contacted by vodacom debt collectors in January 2024 informing me that an upgrade data sim was taken without my knowledge and consent on the account. I am again subjected to follow the tiring ***** reporting procedure hence. My details are being used without my knowledge to conduct these unauthorised transactions in the same store - Game Clearwater Mall.

I was a loyal customer of vodacom and never defaulted on my payment. I wish to no longer have any account or association with vodacom and would appreciate that you deal with the matter and request the debt collection department to stop calling me.
