Repairs to Iphone 6 Plus

<p> </p> <p>I had taken out a contract with Vodacom for my Iphone 6 Plus in Nov 2014. After about a year, I cracked my screen but the phone was still usable. Because I was paying for insurance on the phone (Through Vodacom), I decided to get a screen replacement on the phone, especially befor I am due for another upgrade just in case I decide to sell the phone. In Jan 2016 I took the phone in for a screen replacement and was told my phone is irrepairable. That didnt make sense because even Apple themselves had given me a quote to fix the phone. I let that go and opted to pay about R900 or so to get a refurbished phone as I was not prepared to pay R3000 odd for a new one when mine was working perfectly. </p> <p> </p> <p><br />A few months later, my phone now has the touch disease and Vodacom does not want to fix it. I had made them aware that there is no damage to the phone at all, no screen breakage or anything of that sort. I even went onto the net and saw that many other people have the same issue with the IPhone 6 and 6 plus. These people now want me to either pay another 900 for another refurbished phone or R3000 for a new one. Why should I pay if the defect was not caused by me? Worst is that the phone looks new. Why do I continue paying for insurance and a package if the service and product I receive is not the best quality???!!! I'm tired of Vodacom and they must Fall!!! It's sickening to also see the attitude of the people at the repair centre treating us customers like nothing.</p>
