REPAIRS NOT DONE - UMHLANGA REPAIR CENTRE
Took phone in for repairs to the Voda Repair Umhlanga Ridge branch on the 13th of August. I was told that my phone would be sent for repairs, but if it fell out of the warrantee, they would provide me with a quote, after which I could give the go-ahead or not. The store was called on the 14th and again on the 17th and was told that spares were being ordered and I would be contacted once the repair was complete. Regarding the status of the repair, they said that they cannot assist and that I need to go to the website to get the status. Status read the following : Warranty Type - Warranty (MFTR), Status of Repairs - Job number ***3 is currently awaiting spares,Cost - R0.00.(Screen dump as proof). On the 18th I was told to pick up the phone, only to be told at the store that the phone has not been repaired. They did not give me a valid reason or provide me with a quote as requested. I have been calling the store since the 19th and they refuse to answer the *** number. I called the Repair Call centre today, she provided me with another number ***2, this number does not get answered either. I live in JHB and left my phone in DBN on the premise that it would get repaired.
