Repairs Complaint

Good Day

I purchased a Huawei P30 and the phone was delivered to me on the 20th June 2019 by RAM tracking number K***.

It stopped charging on 13th August 2019. I took it to Voda Shop Oval in Ladysmith where I was told that my charger my faulty and the phone was booked for repairs under Job Number: ***9.

I received the phone (19 days later) at the same Voda Shop yesterday the 2nd September 2019 with a battery that is half full. Last night the battery got finished and it was not charging again.

The phone is now re-booked under Job Number: ***3.

During the repairs period I was in contact with the repair centre in Kimberly and found out that they had ordered spares and I explained and requested them not to do anything on the but replace the charger. The charger was not replaced nor fixed but my less than two months phone was tempered with by the technicians who replaced spares that were not faulty in the first place. They further did a software upgrade which wiped out everything on my phone (without my consent) for sweet nothing because when I received the phone I had to download and install another software update.

I am of the view that Vodacom should replace and issue me with a new cellphone and it's accessories. I say this because my phone is failry new it was tempered with for no reason at all and accessories are not supposed to give me problem in just a month of purchase of a new device.
