Repair your reputation (and client devices)

On the 16th of June I handed in an insured device (insured by Vodacom) at Vodacom in Cresta. I was told that it usually takes about 10 days to repair. After more than a week, Vodacom insurance only gave the go ahead to repair. It then took days to obtain the parts. Now, after 13 working days, (I've been told that the turnaround time is 7 to 14 working days), The service consultant at repairs, Miyelani, also made it very clear that she will not have a Manager contact me in this regard. Clearly Vodacom does not care about SLA's or the reputational damage that this type of even causes. Miyelani told me that they have made this a priority but however it could (and most likely will) extend beyond the 14 working days. In the interim, I have a child on holiday, who cannot reach me as he has no device. Congrats Vodacom on your excellent service and understanding! I'll be sure to move my R3000 monthly account to another service provider as you clearly just do not care.
