Repair Nightmare

Vodacom repair in canal walk/ century city will not answer calls, never give calls back and generally just doesn't care. They have my device, they have had it for over a week supposedly repairing it, despite large banners advertising same day repair. I app**** online for insurance, which was accepted, they then told me they needed to apply again. Then without letting me know the result of the request, they informed me that the device was fixed and that I now owed ±R5000 for repairs. I NEED my device for business, so this feels like ******ion.

This issue has finally been resolved! My funds were returned. it took about 6 months, but My perseverance along with the help of Mthetheleli Ciyane (Massive help, super friendly and really worked hard to resolve my case, I think this is the person who probably eventually turned the tides when it landed on his plate, big thank you!) as well as Aneesa Enos, Enver Jocobs and Michael Baker, the case has been resolved.

I still think that Vodacom's internal structures need work to ensure a quicker easier remediation process. But at the very least they did give me back what I was due.
