Refusing to help person who only has pay as you go and not contract
I have a pay as you go phone and used a code to check my balances. The phone lagged and would not respond and due to the lag an incorrect option got selected which led to a one month data bundle being provisioned. This took all my money for the whole month. I phoned vodacom to ask if i could cancel the bundel and was told that i could not cancel it. I advised that i would pay for a 500 bundel for today, and then the rest of the months data can be stopped because its mot been provisioned yet, it gets loaded every day. But they refused to help and told me because i was not on a contract they would not reverse it. I explained that there was a technical issue and it was probably the network (their network) that lagged, but they would not assist. They are discriminating against the poor who cannot afford contracts because they know poor people have no power. I am being forced to pay for an item i have not actually used. This is against the consumer protection act.
