refuse to repair cellphone

my son was on holiday at my cousin's place in kempton park in January 2016.They were playing around the pool when he accidentally fell into the pool.The cell is a sony Xperia Z3 which supposed to be water proof,however when he got out, the screen of the phone was completely black. he took the cell to vodacom in bedfordiew where he was told that i had to fill out an insurance claim.when he got from his vacation i took the cell to vodacom trade route mall to sent it for repairs that was on the 12/01/2016 job no ***1.I was told it would take 3 weeks, however 4 weeks later after NO status I phoned the call centre, who referred me to repairs centre. i was told the cell was delivered to trade route on 5/02/16.i went to collect,only to be told that it is not repaired and i must claim and pay for excess on the phone.i phone the repairs centre on friday 12/02/16 about 16H50 to find out what happened.firstly the centre was so noisy you can't even hear what the agent is saying,i asked what's all the noise,she said they closing now and people are leaving.She couldn't give me an answer and told me they are only the centre for status.now no cell and still paying the contract no one to help
