Refusal to upgrade contract

I have emailed and called re this query with no feedbac****

I have been a client with Vodacom for more than 10 years.

Paid my contract via debit on time and never skipping a payment. You can check my records and you will see that.

For the last almost 5 years, coming to an end in a few months, I have been under debt review but vodacom isnt part of the debt review - I have placed it as one of my monthly debit orders which I pay monthly without fail. I have a letter from my debt review company confirming this is a monthly expense with a budget of R600. My monthly debit order is for under R550, so the budgeted amount is sufficient.

According to the debt review companies if you have placed it (your cellphone account) on your monthly expenses when you app**** for debt review, and you have proven that you can pay the account, then you are allowed to upgrade your contract, you are only not allowed to open a new contract.

So, my question to you - why am I not allowed to upgrade my contract now all of a sudden?

I have done this already about 3 times before in this 5 years, I have 2 contracts with you people. Now all of a sudden it's a problem.

It wasn't a problem for you to take my money via debit order each month, successfully received with no payments missed. But let me just miss a payment then you quick to call and hey your money but I cant upgrade my simple contract.

I'm not an idiot and would not take a contract I cant afford.

Seems that vodacom is all about taking peoples money but not providing a service.

Thank you for your arrogant answer received and lack of customer service efficiecy towards your long term clients.

Its ********* actions from companies like you of this nature, as well as the ill treatment from you towards these valued clients that will ultimately result in your companies short coming and hinder your growth.

FYI this query is far from resolved.

You've just lost another client.
