Refusal to repair Mercer Guru Laptop

I purchased a Mercer Guru laptop on contract from Vodacom. The last two days, the laptop is not charging correctly. I contacted Vodacom and was informed I need to take the laptop to the repair shop at Lakeside Mall. I took the laptop in, the repair shop refused to take the laptop in as they said it is a Mercer issue to fix. I contacted Mercer who requires a proof of purchase from Vodacom before they can fix the laptop. After over an hour on the phone again with Vodacom to get said proof of purchase, I have been told by Lerato that Vodacom does not have the proof of purchase (i.e. Vodacom has no proof that I have the laptop), I need to take it back to the repair shop, the repair shop can assist me, she cant assist without a job card number which the repair shop needs to issue but the repair shop wont assist me. Finally I was told I need to wait 7 to 21 days for this issue to be escalated to get the proof of purchase?? Really?
