Refusal or hostage on cancellation of contract due to end

Called the contact centre to log a call for cancellation of the contract due to end 30 June 2024 as I was advised earlier this month on 2 June 2024 when I called to cancel due to the notice for 30 daya. I was advised I have to call again as I had recently made payment that was 2 June 2024. I spoke to Ruth Anderson who advised I can log a cancellation atleast on 7 June 2024.

I called today 12 June 2024 around 08:20 something and spoke to the same male twice who initially indicated his name is “Fee”, he kept me on hold and dropped, I called again and the call is routed and his voice again I recognised it easily good with voices. He now say he is Siya Cele, well I request cancellation he doesn’t want to assist and say I am in arrears and just forward me to accounts. The agent picks up and don’t speak a word, I am like why are you quiet? She speaks to someone on the side and hangs up.

Then I call the accounts contact directly and I spoke to MaThabethe who advised I should give it two hours and once the status is updated I came call cancellation. Two hours from 08:30 something.

At 10:33 today 12 June 2024,I called cancellation again as accounts advised my status will be updated with status account not in arrears.

At 10:34 I spoke to Veli he checked the account and asked if you had called earlier.Veli advised the accounts status is not up to date i must call again around 12:00.

Now its funny how I am sent from pillar to post for cancellation but when I took the contract was easy.

Vodacom I want to cancel this contract because its due to end month end, I feel I am being prevented to cancel it. Since 2 June I have been calling and no assistance sent back and forth. I am exhausted please the contract is due to end even your handset (wifi router) is no longer working it has reached its mileage.
