Refusal of Handset Replacement

I have a Sony M4 Aqua purchased in September 2015. i had one screen repair and the phone returned and it worked perfectly fine. Suddenly in December the phone goes off on its own, tried switching it on, tried charging , nothing happens. Took to Vangate to have it sent to the repair centre and get a call to say its BER (beyond Economical Repairs). Now bearing in mind that not even the supplier can get the phone on to assess the problem. i am being told that i have to continue paying the phone for the remainder of the 2 years, i think this is absolutely unacceptable. the phone is not even a year old yet and they will Vodacom will not replace the handset.

How can they ***** peoples hard earned money. i refuse to carry on paying for a handset that i cannot use, i cannot believe that they would tell me such a thing within its warranty period. NO NO NO VODACOM ARE ******!!!!!! How does a phone just stop working like that within 6 months, im sure there was a problem with the phone to begin with and now Vodacom does not want to take responsibility!!!!!!
