Redeeming Talking Points Not Worth The Hassle

Redeeming your talking points from Vodacom is a nightmare. The App constantly has technical issues when you try redeem from the App. Dialing *135*7# does not help because no matter how many points you have the reply is always "you do not have enough talking points" even though you can see your balance is more than enough. When I call customer care from my VODACOM cellphone and try the talking points self help option the automated voice tells me I must be calling from my Vodacom number to check my talking points and the call automatically ends. What an inconvenience to try redeem the little benefit we get for sticking with such an expensive network provider.
