Red VIP...

For approximately R2k or so per month you can get unlimited calls (assuming Vodacom has signal), unlimited texts (assuming Vodacom has signal), and 5GB of data (assuming Vodacom has signal). As a bonus, you also get call-centre staff who:<br> > say that Vodacom will call you in 24-48 hours to resolve a problem (no one ever calls in the timeframe specified if they even call at all)<br> > frustratingly ask you for your cell number (even though their system has the number available) and who lie to you saying that their system cannot get the number.<br> <br> Further, when you ask for a manager, in this case Nantondi, no one's around.<br> <br> In my experience, Vodacom will double-bill you when you join Red VIP and provide no logical explanation, Vodacom is unable to solve network issues some 12 months after they are reported, cannot run a call centre, and has no concept of customer care. Vodacom is, in my experience, a disgrace to the Vodafone brand.<br> <br> If you want to pay a fortune for cell service that, overall, has much in common with Eskom, then Red VIP is for you.
